ABOUT US
MyTyme Jazz Zsoul band has been rocking music & entertaining crowds in the Chicago land area & the Midwest for years. We do a variety of music from Soul, Jazz & Funk to R&B, Hip Hop & Pop. Working with a number of professional musicians & vocalists allows us to cater to different types of events & venues. We have performed for corporate events, weddings, private events, restaurants, clubs, festivals & other venues. We can accommodate any event. We cater to your needs with the size band that you desire, from an intimate 3 piece unit to a 10 piece unit that includes vocalist and a horn section. We love what we do and you will too!!
MICK MUSE
Drummer & founder of MyTyme Jazz Zsoul - established the band 20 years ago. He graduated from the American Conservatory of Music & studied at Sherwood school of music. He won the Black Excellence award for outstanding achievement in music. He has played drums since the age of six. He has played with the Staple Singers and Chi-lites and toured overseas with Johnny Dollar and Lefty Diaz. He has also done work with ETA theater and done commercial jingles. He works with a myriad of musicians & vocalists and has established MyTyme Jazz Zsoul as one of Chicago's most sought after bands.
DION WILLIAMS
Vocalist - Dion is highly sought after vocalist and has been singing professionally around Indiana and the Chicagoland area for years. Dion's suave melodic baritone voice continues to captivated audiences.
MELISSA MONIQUE
Vocalist - Melissa has been singing around the Chicagoland area for years. Her melodic tones have backed up many prominent singers in concert. She performs regularly in Chicago and Indiana.

DAVE JOHNSON
Bassist - A Chicago native who was one of the founding members of the popular Chicago band Weapons of Peace who opened shows for the Ohio Players, Pointer Sisters, Earth Wind & Fire, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Ramsey Lewis to name a few.
David also played with many of Chicago’s finest musicians and groups such as Edwin Daugherty, Lucius Bell, Larry Hanks, Regina Brown, Aki Antonia, Alto Smith, Buddy Fambro, Burgess Gardner, the Morris Ellis Orchestra, the Gentlemen of Leisure and more. His musical influences are in Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Calypso, Reggae & Gospel.
DAVE JORDAN
Guitarist - Dave has been working successfully for over 30 years. A professional musician who has performed with various national acts.

Keyboardist - Chuck is a professional musician playing keys and as a vocalist for many local and national acts.
